What is an Anti-Phishing Code?

Anti-Phishing Code is that provides a security feature to prevent phishing, this is a Binance unique security feature that allows users of this service to add a layer of security to their private or corporate account!Once you have enabled this security feature, it will automatically be included in any email Binance sends you. With this code, email service providers will distinguish real emails, various phishing emails or other phishing companies!

How to set up your first Anti-Phishing Code

Open up Binance website and Go to your account dashboard, where you’ll find the Anti-Phishing code security tab.Press – Create Anti-Phishing Code.

You will be asked to write and set up your own Anti-phishing code of your choice!The code must be at least 8 characters long, including uppercase letters and numbers. It would be advisable to choose a code that is not easy to guess by an outside party, but of course you have to remember that yourself!

At this point, you will need to enter your Google authentication code or SMS authentication code based on which authentication system you have enabled or what you want to use!

After entering your two-factor authentication code, you have created a unique anti-phishing code for yourself. Now all emails sent by Binance contain the code you specified.TIP: For maximum protection, we recommend that you periodically update your protection code. Although every 1-2 months to prevent issues!

How to update your Anti-Phishing Code?

We recommend that you periodically update your Anti-phishing Code to stay as secure as possible, you can update the code very easy way with using these steps!First, go your Account Control Panel where you see Anti-Phishing Code settings. There you will see a button called “Change code”. Click that to start and change the code!

Now you can set up your new Code but remember that the new Code should be at least 8 characters long and should contain at least one capital letter and one number.

You will now need to re-enter your Google authentication code or SMS authentication code, depending on which two-factor authentication feature you have chosen and enabled!

After entering your two-factor authentication code, you have created and updated your unique anti-phishing code. Now all emails sent by Binance include the new code you specified!
